MultiCultClassics has been wondering about the extraordinarily awful Lingo Cops campaign for Southern Comfort. Turns out the work was created through Poptent, which hypes itself as “crowdsourced video production and ideation.” The Lingo Cops creators received $10,000 for the effort. Somebody call the real cops pronto, because running this shit is a crime.
